Ainsley Girl, what can mommy say? Father's day is especially hard for me because yours is glaringly absent from your life. I hope one day you come to know him better. Inside, he really is a good person. Since you don't know him very well at all, I do my best to do both jobs for you. I promise you, monkey, that you will never, ever lack for affection or guidance in your lifetime. You are growing so much every single day and become more and more beautiful as the minutes pass. Before I know it, you're going to be a young woman. You will ALWAYS be my baby. And I will ALWAYS be your mama. Somedays, I'll even be your daddy. :)
Happy Father's Day to... well, me.
David was scared to become a father again after... 15 years! Worried that he wouldn't know what to do, worried that he would fail his son. Aidan is almost 5 months old, and David's having the time of his life! I was worried about having 2 children instead of one, worried that I would fail as a mother with too much on my plate. Almost 5 months later, my heart is bursting with pride for my children.
Happy Father's Day, David!
